High School Seniors about to graduate: You are faced with many decisions, whether taking a break before applying for college or entering the work force. Making the right education and training choices enhances your opportunities.
ADMISSIONS:
Admission is also based on interview assessment, and a background check. If you have ever been convicted of a felony or have certain Misdemeanors you may be ineligible for Certified Nurse Aide program. Inquire with our admission advisor for more information.
When registering for Certified Nursing Assistants program bring your Social Security Card and the following documents:
1. Driver License or State Issued ID
2. TB Skin Test (if positive a chest xray must be done)
3. Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
4. 1st Hepatitis B Vaccine
5. Flu Shot
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
High School Students between 17 and 18 years of age may be eligible for financial assistance through a WIA One Stop Career Center Youth Program. Contact your local WIA One Stop Career Center to find out more about their Youth Program.
The Workforce Investment Act is a federal grant that covers training expenses for individuals who have been laid off from employment, or whose household income is at or below the federal poverty level. To apply for the WIA grant, contact the One-Stop Workforce Center for the county in which you reside, or the county where you worked when you were laid off from employment. The WIA application process takes several weeks, so please don't delay in getting started. Once WIA grant approval is awarded by the One-Stop Workforce Center, contact Covenant CNA School Registration at admin@covenantcna.com for a Letter of Acceptance.
Applicants must provide complete and accurate information in order to be considered for admission. Deliberate falsification of information will disqualify an applicant. If falsification is discovered after admission, it will constitute cause for dismissal. Covenant Program Coordinator reserves the right to act as sole judge of the acceptability of an applicant to its program of study.
Immunizations are also required at time of registration or by the 1st day of class.
