Certified Nursing Assistant: This course offers a basic study of principles and procedures used by the Nursing Assistant in long term care, home health settings and hospitals. The focus is on basic human needs and care of the elderly. Integration of skills and concepts is acquired through hands on clinical experience at a local health care facility. This course meets the Georgia Medical Care Foundation requirements for Nursing Assistant.
Our program provides you with a combination of classroom instruction, lab practice and clinical. Our instructors are health professionals who are committed to helping individuals attain their goal of entering the healthcare profession. This course prepares you for the Georgia National Nurse Aide Competency Examination.
Bilingual Spanish Certified Nursing Assistant: This course offers a basic study of principles and procedures used by the Nursing Assistant in long term care, home health settings and hospitals. The Patient Care Technician certificate program prepares individuals for a variety of employment opportunities in the health occupation areas and is generated to meet the need for cross training of employees in health care facilities. Graduates may find employment in long-term care facilities, hospitals, laboratories, and clinics where basic bedside nursing skills are required, as well as the skill of phlebotomy, performing electrocardiograms (EKG), stress testing, and holter monitoring procedures.
The Patient Care Technician program consists of classroom and supervised clinical activities and advance clinical at a leading Atlanta Hospital. Upon successful completion of this competency-based program, students will be eligible to take the National Patient Care Technician Examination through American Phlebotomy Association.

Advance Clinical Program: Covenant C.N.A. School offers an Advance Clinical Program for our Certified Nursing Assistants and Patient Care Technicians at one of Atlanta's leading hospital students will work with patients under the instruction of their Instructors. in order to participated in the advance clinical program students will be assessed by the Program Coordinator and instructors
The Heartsaver AED with Pediatric CPR Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED. Child and infant CPR skills may be taught if students live or work in a setting where children are present. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and to give first aid for choking for responsive adult, child and infant victims. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major-medical emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and choking. The Heartsaver First Aid Course includes essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA, all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. The course is modular to meet the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees. The core module comprises general principles, medical emergencies and injury emergencies. Georgia NNAAP Regional Test Site (Code RTS 11049) C.N.A. class schedules are Day, Evening Monday through Friday, and Weekend (Saturdays Only). Classes for the P.C.T are only day classes nights classes will be available soon. Certified Nursing Assistant program is a 4 week program.
